Principal’s Message: Mrs Leonie Fitzgerald

In 2024, we have 585 students at our school. Our staff work consistently to ensure that we provide an exciting, stimulating learning environment where our children can be motivated and engaged in their learning. We focus on providing clear and explicit instruction as children work independently and in groups to achieve their full learning potential. Regular feedback enables students to have an ever growing understanding of their own learning. As well as academic excellence, the school values creative skills and physical education.

Our school provides specialist classes in Visual and Performing Arts, Music, Physical Education and Indonesian Language Studies. We have wide range of lunchtime and after school activities providing opportunities for students to explore and develop skills in sports and hobbies. We also have intensive language support programs for those students from a non-English speaking background. The school provides a before and after school program.
Our school values; Safe, Responsibility, Respectful, assist in creating an environment where students develop social skills and build strong personal connections. Through the development of positive work habits and the use of learning technologies, students are encouraged to have high expectations of themselves to succeed through personal effort and hard work.

Our Community Hub provides a range of services and opportunities for our community. Playgroups, and a range of activities are offered. These include information sessions, English classes and yoga. Our school has strong links with our on-site kindergarten and other local kindergartens and child care facilities in the area. These connections facilitate a smooth transition to school.

Parents are welcome at our school and in our classrooms at any time. At different times throughout the school year, whole school events such as Harmony Day, Education Week celebrations, Literacy and Numeracy Week and Family Fun Day activities provide families with further opportunities to share experiences. Parent Teacher Interviews and meetings with teachers provide structured information about your child.
